THIS LITTLE LIGHT OF MINE,
I’M GONNA LET IT SHINE.......
Thanks in advance for all your support. Leukemia Society's Light the Night Walk will be coming up again October 2010
Stay tuned for details and a link to my donation page
Why do I walk? I walk in memory of my father Douglas E. Davis, Sr. who lost his battle with Leukemia 25 years ago at the early age of 57. I walk in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.
Every five minutes, someone in this country is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every nine minutes, someone dies.
Leukemia is the leading cause of disease-related death among children under age 15.
Lymphomas are the most common blood cancers.
The myeloma survival rate is only 30 percent.
Please consider helping in any way that you can. By doing so, we’ll both be helping save lives. I hope you'll visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
